Travel Softball Tryouts for Fall 2009 / Spring 2010:
  August 8th          &               August 9th

10u - 9:00-11:00 am          1:00-2:30pm

12u - 11:00 am – 1:30pm  4:00-5:30pm

14u – 2:00 – 4:30pm         2:30-4:00pm
 
Please arrive 20 minutes early for registration and warm up.
Tryouts will be held on fields 1 & 2.

2009 Fall Recreation Baseball & Softball

Registration Dates:

Monday – Friday, July 27 - August 14, 8:30 am – 5 pm, Saturdays,

August 1 & 8, 9 – 12 pm.

Registration Locations:

Central Park & Sharon Springs Park administrative offices.

Saturday registration will be conducted at Central Park only!

Registration Fee:

$60.00 per child. Child must be 4 years old prior to

September 1, 2009 to participate.

General Info:

Each child will be placed in the appropriate age division by FCPRD. Children may only play up one age group with permission from the FCPRD Athletic Staff. Each team will be scheduled to play 10 games. Game days are Monday through Friday (no Saturday or Sunday games). Practices will be scheduled Monday through Saturday prior to games beginning. Some teams may practice on Saturdays after games begin.

Evaluations (if needed): August 24 - 28

Practices begin: August 31, 2009

Games begin: September 14, 2009

Season ends: October 23, 2009

Over the past couple of years, it has been brought to the attention of the board that not everyone fully realizes what we are responsible for in order to manage the Baseball and Softball leagues. Please note you may sign up at http://www.statusme.com/  for immediate updates on field conditions. The Rain Out line is 770-886-2851 but can get quite busy.
 
LIGHTNING POLICY-Please note we have a lightning detector. When the horn sounds everyone must retreat to their cars. An all clear will sound with three blast and the light will stop blinking when it is safe to return to the fields.
