Thanks to all the players who participated in a successful day at evaluations on February 4th! Teams are now being selected, and you will be contacted by your Head Coach no later than Feb 15th.
Sunday Select/ All-Star Program
The top 24 kids based on evaluation scores are invited to participate in the SSP Sunday Select program. Where the most skilled players are given an opportunity to compete in representing SSP for end of season All-Stars. Please note, If your child is overlooked b/c of a bad day at evals he may be recommended by his rec team Coach anytime prior to April 1st. Thus, giving all league players a fair opportunity to be observed and invited for Sunday Select/All-Star consideration. We anticipate having two All-Star teams in the 6 year old age group and these two teams will be finalized NO earlier than April 1st.
Based on evaluation scores from Februry 4th, the parents of those players invited will be notified on Sunday, February 12th by email. First practice for Sunday Select will be February 26th, time TBD.
Important Dates for 6U:
February 27: Practices begin (two per week)
March 23 - 29: Preseason county tournament (two games)
March 30 - 4/8: Spring break (no practices or games scheduled)
April 9: Regular season begins (two games a week)
April 27: Braves night
May 25: Season tournament ends
